Bizans kaynaklar\u0131nda yer alan <strong>Apar<\/strong> ad\u0131 (Eski T\u00fcrk\u00e7e:), G\u00f6kt\u00fcrkler taraf\u0131ndan da kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olup K\u00fcl Tigin Yaz\u0131t\u0131\u2019nda Avarlar i\u00e7in \u201cApar\u201d ifadesine rastlanmaktad\u0131r. En \u00e7ok, 568\u2013626 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda s\u00fcren Avar\u2013Bizans sava\u015flar\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdikleri ak\u0131nlar ve y\u0131k\u0131mlar ile G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Avrupa\u2019daki Slav g\u00f6\u00e7leri \u00fczerindeki etkileriyle tan\u0131n\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son d\u00f6nem arkeogenetik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, Pannonian Avarlar\u0131n\u0131n genetik k\u00f6kenlerinin b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde <strong>Antik Kuzeydo\u011fu Asya<\/strong> atalar\u0131na dayand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131; \u00f6zellikle Mo\u011folistan ve Man\u00e7urya\u2019daki Amur Nehri havzas\u0131ndan gelen g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz insanlar\u0131yla benzerlik g\u00f6sterdi\u011fini ortaya koymaktad\u0131r. Bu bulgular, Do\u011fu Avrasya bozk\u0131rlar\u0131ndan Avrupa\u2019n\u0131n merkezine do\u011fru ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen ilk h\u0131zl\u0131 g\u00f6\u00e7 dalgalar\u0131ndan birine i\u015faret etmektedir. Pannonian Avarlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ekirdek n\u00fcfusunun, di\u011fer bozk\u0131r topluluklar\u0131n\u0131n da e\u015flik etti\u011fi <strong>Rouran Ka\u011fanl\u0131\u011f\u0131<\/strong>\u2019n\u0131n kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131ndan olu\u015fmu\u015f olmas\u0131 muhtemeldir.
